| The four friends, Rick (Sean Patrick Flanery), Trent (Ron Livingston), Michael (Jerry O'Connell) and Shawn (Brad Rowe) enjoy the freedom of their bachelor lives and discuss openly their active sex lives. The same can be said for Sara (Amanda Peet), Whitney (Emily Procter), Jane (Amanda Peet) and Emma (Sybil Temtchine). They are also sexually active and don't look down on an exciting "one night stand" if the opportunity presents itself. These eight youngsters run into each other at an exclusive club and the abundant flow of liquour helps to loosen the atmosphere and stimulate their sexual feelings. Four couples are formed and each couple goes off on its own that night. Rick and Jane end up together but fall asleep before anything can happen. In the middle of the night they're woken up by a heavily bruised Sara who claims that Michael has raped her. This puts the "fun and games" of the previous night in a totally different light. |
